OZOFLEX Heavy Duty Rubber

OZOFLEX  is designed as a  heavy-duty flexible for dry,  damp and wet environments, areas of stress caused by vibration or impact and is resistant to abrasion, exposure to radiated heat and chemical contamination.

Because of the black, flame retardant CSP sheath OZOFLEX is suitable for areas subject to fire hazard and hazardous locations.

OZOFLEX cables consist of finely stranded copper conductors laid up to provide a flexible design. R-EP-90 elastomer insulation provides improved current capacities.

Cables above  16mm² and all control cables have an elastomer inner sheath.  The  CSP elastomer sheath (Hypalon) is oil resistant and flame retardant in accordance with VDE 0472.

The construction is in accordance with the Australian Standards AS 1125, AS  3191, AS 3116  and DIN/VDE  0282  IEC332-1  and CENELEC  standards for O7RN.
OZOFLEX cables0,  covered by the Prescribed Items Act mandatory approval for flexible leads, are accordingly covered by Approval Certificate No. 11551.

OZOFLEX (PLUS) cables consist of finely stranded copper conductors laid up to provide a flexible design. 

R-EP-90 elastomer insulation provides improved current capacities. Cables above 16mm² and all control cables include an additional elastomer inner sheath and all cables up to 6mm² have tinned conductors. 

The  specially  compounded  heavy  duty  CSP Elastomer sheath (Hypalon) is oil resistant and flame retardant and resists the effects of water absorption.

The construction is in accordance with the Australian Standards AS 1125, AS 3191, AS/NZS 5001-1 and DIN/VDE  282 and CENELEC standards for 07RN, IEC 60 332-1.

Hazardous Area Terminal Box

No matter how big or small the application there’s an OSCG Terminal Box right for you. We offer two styles, GRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester) from small  sizes of 122x120x90mm for a OSPG1 up to larger 405x400x200mm OSPG11 size. We can also offer Stainless Steel OS-TOP from 150x150x80mm up to 1000x1400x500mm. All box’s are drilled to requirements and can be supplied complete with gland plates, din rail fixings, terminals and so on.

Springvale Water Treatment Plant located in Lithgow has been built to treat the coal mine water for nearby Mount Piper Power Station which provides approximately 15% of New South Wales’ power.

Once the project was awarded to the Electrical Contractor responsible for installation extreme deadlines were implemented.

Hastings Electrical was seen as the one trusted source to package together over $2m worth of industrial power cables required for this project. While the contractor was still signing contracts towards the end of 2018 we assisted in design, quotation, specification, manufacture and supply of correct cables fit for purpose of harsh environment applications. All cables were supplied and installed to schedule throughout a 5 month period from initial quoting.

Sydney Metro is Australia’s largest public transport infrastructure project with a fully automated rapid transit system. Sydney Metro Northwest stage operating from Rouse Hill to Chatswood opened to the public on Sunday 26th May 2019.

Hastings Electrical successfully contributed to supply on tight deadlines Electrical items included Cables, Circuit Protection, Motor Control, Lightning/Surge Arrestors, Weatherproof Switchgear, Conduits and Cable Support items.
